Vinima Shekhar is a highly accomplished leader in the retail industry with extensive experience across manufacturing, merchandising, eCommerce and fintech. Currently serving as the Vice President of Merchandising for wellness at Walmart, she is responsible for delivering affordable health and wellness products and services to customers.
Vinima joined Walmart in 2018 as an e-commerce merchandising manager and quickly advanced to the role of director within a year. In 2020, she was appointed senior merchandising director of directed spend for fintech, where she successfully scaled and transformed a digital payment platform, creating a new and high-growth revenue stream for the company. In 2022, Vinima was promoted to her current position as the leader of omni-channel merchandising for Wellness, overseeing a range of areas including vitamins, supplements, digestive wellness, performance, lifestyle, and adult nutrition.

Vinima serves on the board for Girl Scouts Diamonds of Arkansas and is an Advisor for the NextUp, NWA organization. Vinima holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the College of Notre Dame, a master's degree in engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and master’s in business administration from Texas A&M, Kingsville.
